GODDESSES OF ARCHAEOLOGY

This series of goddess tapestries is my newest work. These tapestries are based on the small "Mother Goddess" or "Venus" figurines found in excavations of ancient sites throughout the world. For each one, I've researched site reports and museum studies to learn about typical styles of various eras and regions. Some date back to 30,000 BC. ​
